Default 2007 Kansas City Royals Thread

Here's to not being the worst team in MLB anymore! Seriously, the Royals should be competitive. Youth and talent need to come together in a beautiful way. Unfortunately, we're in a brutally tough AL Central division.

Gotta keep running Schilling's pitch count up. 55 already thru 2 innings. 2-1 Royals.

I am so pissed that the game is blacked out here. I was looking forward to seeing Alex Gordon in a Royals uniform after watching him all last year here in Wichita. As a long suffering Royals fan I haven't look forward to a season this much in a while. I know they will probably finish last, but for the first time in a long time it seems they are heading in the right direction. I am still shocked they Royals got Dayton Moore away from Atlanta.

Yeah the ESPN blackout is annoying. You don't get 38 the spot?

Gil Meche looks really strong, his curveball is just nasty. Now that I've typed that, I'm sure he'll get rocked.

Guess not. According to the TV listings Cox doesn't offer the channel its on (whatever that channel is). I would rather they play a team like Tampa Bay, that way ESPN could careless about the game.

I am listening to the game on the radio, and it sounds like Meche might have been nervous the first inning but settled down.

5-1 Royals as I type this. With the WhiteSox being blown out by the Indians, it's a great day so far.
