Default NL200 - Protecting or Overvaluing my hand against aggressive opponent?

No history with villain. Over a half hour of play, his frequent stupid preflop minraises and donkish 35/4 stats over a small sample lead me to believe he's a bad player but he is aggressive postflop when he has a hand (and maybe when he doesn't - not sure at this point.)

Button ($104.10)

UTG+1 ($188.45)
MP1 ($62.10)
MP2 ($135.80)
MP3 ($80)
CO ($76.20)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].

Hero checks, UTG bets $17, MP1 folds, MP3 folds, Hero raises to $40, UTG calls $23.

Turn: ($97) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)

Villain only has ~$95 left. Do I just pot it here or is that too strong? Try a weak lead and call a shove? CRAI?

What a nice villain to play against.
I like your reraise on the flop, i was thinking larger but that would just be getting carried away. I would say for sure shove on the turn. Or with really poor players, i like to bet just under the ammount that they have left, say 85 dollars or so. I think they just like the idea that they have a little bit left but that all just IMO. I'm trying to put him on a hand here, and i'm thinking perhaps a flush draw but then i would think that he would push on the flop, so your probably against a k,10 or something. Bet big and be happy.

Make it like $55 on the flop.

You have to shove turn.

I think in this situation that raising smaller is definetly better. I would say the 55 dollars would scare off to many donk players, and that you have a strong enough hand and good position you should take this as your opportunity to stack them.
With an normal experience player, giving them good odds to call would be a bad idea, but i think in this case villian's hand range is so broad and you will be ahead so often that i would be happy to slowplay/fastplay this hand.

Id make it about 2/3 of the pot...around 60. Have to charge him if he has draw, AK, or AA.
