Stud hi/lo: Online vs, Casino

I've been playing 7 card stud hi/lo for about 4 months now online and have a lot of success though my knowledge of it is very limited.

Got this video (Fun to Know: Poker Made Simple) with a professional dealer explaining how it's played in a casino. After a few minutes he's lost me completely and it's making me want to scratch my eyes out.

1. How popular is stud hi/lo in casinos?

2. How does the game differ in a casino from how it's played online?

3. Online it makes sense to have some opponents cards face up because you can see them easily. At a casino though, how can you see what someone has clear across the table?

4. I completely suck at regular 7 card stud and usually sit out that round during HORSE. Would it help me to learn it anyway?
