OT: How high do you chase bad players up limits?
Suppose this could go in the Psychology forum but thought I'd get more (useful) responses here. Are the general recommended bankroll requirements the same as if you were taking a shot, or is it acceptable to lower your standards a bit if it's a short-handed game where you feel you have a huge edge? Any good/bad experiences would be great to hear about, as I've only recently stalked specific players at different games/limits since they were so profitable to play against (hate to sound like a brag, but it is what it is).

Re: OT: How high do you chase bad players up limits?
My last 2 experiences chasing someone to 1-2 have led to a couple suckouts and a bad play here and there. But I wouldn't have a problem sitting down at a 2/4 table chasing some 70-4 drooler (as long as i get a good seat to hi left). My regular game is 0.5-1

I will follow a total drooler up to stakes 1/5th of my roll.

Re: OT: How high do you chase bad players up limits?
I Generally play 1/2, and have recently followed fish up to 5/10, but technically I'm rolled to play 5/10 so I'm not sure how much of a help that is.
I think it very much depends on if you have extra moniez, if you can afford to lose them and then grind it back. If you need to cash out your winnings to pay for [censored], then you probably shouldnt do it. but with a big drooler, if you can afford to lose the money and drop down even if you do, its worth it |
