Default The secret life of dogs

Yesterday I mentioned my old dog, Pippini.

During the day he would stand in the toilet, and flush himself down the drain - his school was there. His teachers were Miss Smiley and Miss Danke Dunklehaaren. He learned to write with a Bart Simpson pencil. If he was badly behaved he had to go stand in the cupboard that was full of spikes.

Some mornings he would go to the Tufty Club. He would creep out the side door, crawl under the car when we were going to school, hold onto the undercarriage and run along on two legs underneath! The Tufty Club was a peach colored 3 storey house and he used to climb up to the top window and jump out

In the evenings he dressed up in various outfits and pretended to be a human being. Once he was a priest on The Price is Right. Often he was a drummer for various famous rock bands. One year he went in disguise to Euro Disney. He stayed in Camp Davey Crockett (because Suzy had booked it there LDO) and used to try to climb through the safety belts on the fast rides! Miss Danke and Miss Smiley were also there and oftentimes had to watch Lulu (a cat) who was scared to even go on the slow rides like It's a Small World and terrified to attend things like the Mickey Parade.

When I was at school I could talk to Pippini via a microphone in my shirt button. If I dumped my clothes on the floor in the evenings, Scampetti (our other dog) would come and collect them and sew new microphones in.

I loved Pippini [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Here is a poem I wrote that featured him -

Dammit, I thought this was going to be about the Paul LEary CD. Then I remembered that it was called "The History of Dogs". Now I feel dumb.
