Default 20$ -1 add on/1 rebuy KQ top pair

I had seen the villain flop top pair (Queens) with the nut flush draw two hands prior and not bet until the flush fell on the river. He flat called in the big blind in this hand. Whats my play here?

i fear you have to fold.

having called preflop BB might not have AK, which i might have reraised out of position, but maybe not, as you said he likes to play made hands.

btw i think your bet on the flop is too large compared to your stack, making it very difficult to get away from the hand if you face a c/r. i think a good aproach is to ask yourself before you bet what will i do if he raises and what will i do if he shoves and than make an according bet size.

here i think half pot-size had been enough.

anyway with the raise on the flop after your pot-size bet he tells you he beats top pair. from your reads it's also unlikely he is on a draw.

I do totally agree with your logic in terms of the of how I committed myself to the pot with my bet. Thanks for bringing that to light for me.

On the other hand, in terms of him not being on a draw based on his previous play, that I do not agree with. With top pair and a the nut flush draw its unlikely he wouldn't have check raised had the oppurtunity come up. Which is all the more reason that I felt he was on a draw.

Pot is actually 2800ish, converter lies...2150 seems about right...now you've just gotta stick it in....2800 pot with 8K effective stacks ==> don't get away from TPGK
