Default Is Blackjack Beatable with a coupon?

I go to An Indian Casino(pechanga) Once a month to play No limit Hold Em. I have the rewards card and every month I get a $10 blackjack coupon. If I place a $10 bet, The coupon turns it into a $20 bet. In essense, when I win I win $30 and when I lose I only lose $10.

This is a pretty good gamble, but I don't know anything about blackjack strategy. Where can I find the basics? I'm not trying to count cards, I just want to make the best EV decisions once a month.

These "match play" coupons are generally worth just under half of their face value. If you know nothing about blackjack, go to www.blackjackinfo.com and download the basic strategy for the # of decks and rules of the game you intend to play the coupon on.

Some casinos allow you to split and/or double with additional cash for the total bet (ie $20). Others only allow you to split/double for the amount of cash in play (ie $10). Most only pay 3:2 for naturals for the cash and pay the coupon at even money, so you'd probably be paid $25 for a bj rather than $30.

But it's a good deal and you shouldn't pass it up. You can hardly play a hand of bj so poorly that the coupon wouldn't be +ev.
