DirecTV deal

I posted this in OOT, but i like you guys much better so I'll post it here too. Great deal for the POG football fans.

I was interested in upgrading to a HD DVR box with DirecTV, but had never really looked into it. DirecTV's ads and deals are usually geared towards new customers so I called them up to see what they could do for a current customer (since 2001). Their HD DVR is leased for $299. After some talking, I ended up with this deal: Free HD DVR if I purchased the NFL Sunday Ticket package. They waived all installation fees and upgraded me to the Superfan deal for free as well. A $299 HD DVR with the NFL Sunday Ticket plus the $99 Superfan upgrade for $260 (the price of the NFL Sunday Ticket). Pretty sweet deal. Take advantage if you are a longtime customer who hasn't upgraded to an HD DVR yet. It's not advertised so you gotta call em. Good luck!
