Raise more preflop.

Turn is personal preference, some people are going to say take your free draw to your OESD, especially because some of your outs may be tainted, so if we got c/r'd all in it would suck. However, I think that since villain is pretty passive, we should be able to semi-bluff here w/o fear of a c/r often enough. The added benefit of course is that we can get a free showdown if we spike a J or T on the river.

I think this is a terrible spot on the river to fire, after he calls your turn fire, his hand looks either like a set or a FD and the clubs came in, basically by time the river gets here if he didn't just improve, he is probably showing down whatever he had already since he called the turn. I would just give up the pot and check behind on the river here.

A bet on the river really only gets him to fold unimproved overs that picked up [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] draw on the turn and sometimes a hand like QJs as well (picked up a gutter). ANd I think he calls here with hands like Ax (x being one of the cards on board) and some random 2pair hands that we can't bluff this river enough.

River is suicide 90% of the time. I prefer checking the turn, but Ryan was right about what he said there.
