400NL - TPGK, line check
Villain is paopucks, a taggy reg who has been kinda timidish this session, evidenced by him CCing my CO iso from the BTN with AKo. He's running 20/12, 2.2/2.1/2.3. I've been playing fairly laggy, but have encountered a lot of resistance and haven't done much.
FWIW, turn and river bets were made very quickly. Re: 400NL - TPGK, line check
I think I prefer a bet/fold line on the turn than check/call. If we bet, we leave the door open for him to put us on a number of diamonds that make the flush. When we check-call, we've basically announced where we are in the hand. Which in turn tells him that the river is a good chance to bluff.

nice work.
I could be way off, but seems like you can think about c/folding the turn here too. |

Re: 400NL - TPGK, line check
I think you should b/f or c/f the turn. It's close between the two though. c/c kinda sucks because you aren't happy on any rivers and you'll likely face a bet.

Re: 400NL - TPGK, line check
c/c turn seems quite spewy w/ lots of reverse implied odds.

Re: 400NL - TPGK, line check
I only c/c because I don't think I get called by much worse if I bet. I think I am almost always ahead on the flop after he just calls unless he has KJ, and I think I allow him to turn his pair+gutter into a bluff on the turn. I just don't see much value in betting the turn.

[ QUOTE ]
c/c turn seems quite spewy w/ lots of reverse implied odds. [/ QUOTE ] also seems like a bad spot for it with this type of board and the fact it was a 3way flop, what was the thought process? |

Re: 400NL - TPGK, line check
here's my problem with hands like this: in this situation when he bets the river im pretty certain im beat, but check folding the river every time is very exploitable so i have to call the river sometimes here while never feeling good about it. i don't know what to do about this.
