Default defending blind against aggressive player

pokerstars $10 rebuy, after the rebuy. blinds are 500/1k/100 ante. I've got 39k and Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. button has about 60k. BB has 18.5.

It's folded around to the button and he raises to 3k. He's only been at the table about two orbits and already he's made several steal attempts, though he has not tried to steal my particular blind yet.

the flop comes with two of my suit:

[2h 8d Ad]

I check, BB checks. he bets 5,000 (about half the pot). I call. Turn pairs my queen: [Qh], but no flush. I check. he bets 10,000. 1) what's best, call? re-raise? fold?

I called. River pairs the board and I missed my flush. [2h 8d Ad Qh] [2c]. I check & he bets weak or for value with $5,000. 2) what should I do? I check-min raised. 3) he pushed all - in . now what?

Default Re: defending blind against aggressive player

fold preflop

if you want to play the hand, re-raise it pf...the flatcall invited bb to play and now you're in a 3way pot oop with a weak hand.

if you didn't give villain credit for the ace, I would've bet first on the turn

his weak river bet is weird...I would've just called...with his shove I'd probably be stubborn, stick with my read and donk out of the tourney

next time avoid this situation by folding pre-flop
