LIMCASH: Can\'t say I come across this line much
He's 70/30ish. Dumb, overaggressive postflop
2 players Converter Pre-flop: (2 players) Hero is BB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] SB raises, Hero calls. Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3SB, 2 players) Hero checks, SB checks. Turn: 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (1.5BB, 2 players) Hero checks, SB checks. River: 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (1.5BB, 2 players) Hero bets, SB raises, Hero... Bet turn? Check river? Fold river? |

Re: LIMCASH: Can\'t say I come across this line much
I usually try to put in minimal action with small hands against these guys because I'm more likely to make more picking off bluffs than getting really weak call downs.
I would have c/c the turn, and I would still plan on c/c'ing on the river. as for calling the river I really don't know. If you have seen this guy spew on river raises then sure go ahead and call. Tonight I saw two players show me river bluff raises so I'm inclined to call. |

fold [/ QUOTE ] gehrig has played more (and I'm sure better) HUHU than me. so if he says fold I would tend to fold. gehrig what river line would you have taken on the river? c/c or b/f? |

Re: LIMCASH: Can\'t say I come across this line much
lol, i'm starting to actually get used to these silly postflop lines. In my smallish sample size, this is a spot where when he raises the turn you have an easy call down but when he raises the river you have a tough fold.

Re: LIMCASH: Can\'t say I come across this line much
This is a sick spot, I like how its played but I think c/c on the river has slightly more value. I think a fold as played is fine.

Re: LIMCASH: Can\'t say I come across this line much
i bet/fold the river. a lot of UI ace-hands will take this line in an attempt to get to showdown but after the raise, villain's range is mostly very strong. i also don't think we ever get bluff-raised here unless you have a read in which case the hand might not have been posted.

Re: LIMCASH: Can\'t say I come across this line much
I make this call too much. I can't remember it not being some stupidly slowplayed monster. he would have to be a serious moran to be bluffing at a pot this small unless you have some significant history of b/f the river a lot in this spot
river is close between c/c and b/f. does villain not raise every ace preflop? does he make really light calls hoping to snap off a bluff? if so I would bet river and expect to be looked up by an ace or maybe a jack. if he is a bluffmonkey c/c is likely more +ev |

Re: LIMCASH: Can\'t say I come across this line much

b/f is by far the best play here |
