$3.4 - 3 trouble hands
Here are 3 trouble hands of games I have just played.
I was not sure about the correct play. Can anyone please review these hands? -- Hand 1 -- PokerStars Tournament, Big Blind is t20 (10 handed) Converter on pregopoker.com UTG (t1500) UTG+1 (t1500) Hero (t1500) MP2 (t1500) MP3 (t1500) CO+1 (t1500) CO (t1500) Button (t1500) SB (t1500) BB (t1500) Preflop: Hero is in MP1 with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] UTG calls t20, UTG+1 folds, Hero raises to t125, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, CO+1 folds, CO folds, Button calls t125, SB folds, BB calls t105, UTG calls t105 Good raise amount? Re: $3.4 - 3 trouble hands
hand 1 - raise to t80-100, c-bet flop for 3/4 pot.
hand 2 - i'd limp behind with your stack. also with oyur stack you need to call that all-in hand 3 - fold after sb's raise or shove, i probably lean towards shove over tho. |

Re: $3.4 - 3 trouble hands
Hand 1. Raise to 100, 125 just boats the pot. Post flop i would check behind. I think you get called very light here, and the chance of getting check raised is big. Not much reason to bet into players that won't fold, just save the chips for later.
2. Given the stack the UTG has i would bet 3bb and fold to sb and bb push, call utg push. 3. auto fold. Your hand isn't all that good, and you have little FE. |

Re: $3.4 - 3 trouble hands
Hand 1: Raise to t80-t100. Normally I would not c-bet with 4 seeing the flop, however the board is good for a c-bet (paired) but has 2 clubs. If it were rainbow I would fire but as u played its good as well.
Hand 2: UTG is not deep enough to limp behind with 88's for set value. You should fold/raise, but if you raise as u did you have to call UTG shove. Hand 3: With 3 Limpers and a min raiser there will be a lot of dead money in the pot. Unless u have a read that SB is tight this is a shove. |

Re: $3.4 - 3 trouble hands
Hand 1 preflop: Pot sized raise is 90. A raise to 100 is fine. 125 is reasonable, but you'll get the same effect with 100 without committing quite as many chips.
Hand 1 Flop: A c-bet seems reasonable here. It's unlikely anyone has hit this board. You can poke out with about 200-300 chips. The bet would say that your first raise was with a pocket pair and most often everyone will fold at a small risk to you. If they do call/raise, then put the brakes on. With everyone checking to the button, he was able to put out 100 to win 500. That's a great opportunity for him. Once the BB called, it was time to fold, which you did. If he hadn't called, you could consider a miniature check-raise bluff to 300ish. Pot odds would compel the button to call, but his own inexperience would force him to fold unless he held the 8 or a flush draw (even pointlessly small checkraises are very scary to most opponents). Hand 2: Initial raise seems reasonable to me. You might be facing an AA limp-reraiser and be kicking yourself. However, you can't count on it. You need to make the call in this spot. Hand 3: I don't like your call on this one. There's 900 in the pot when it gets to you. Nobody has shown any strength. A push could take the pot down immediately. Even if called you have a hand that can easily win at a showdown and there's enough dead money in the pot to justify being an underdog AI. You should be pushing here. |

Re: $3.4 - 3 trouble hands
1. I like it. No cbet is a good idea here
2. Why not but callcallcall the shove now as you are getting super good odds 3. Calling the miraise is a bad idea with your stack. I probably shove but a read on SB wouuld be nice. If he is a bit serious, this is a fold. |
