Question on online record keeping when multi tabling
Let's say that between 1 and 2 am I play 3 seperate Omaha hi lo games. One game I play for 30 minutes, the other one for 15 and the last one for 20. During that same hour I also play 2 NL games for an hour each.
Do You record the games individually where you'd have 3 hours and 5 minutes of play within one hour or do you somehow record it as one hour of play? I record each game seperately, but I'm not sure if that is the best way to go about things and I'm not sure how to best calculate my hourly rate? |

Re: Question on online record keeping when multi tabling
Interesting. I'll check it out, thanks. The problem I have is that I sometimes look for games for 5 or 10 minutes and if the game is too tight I leave and may have to wait for another one for a little while. Therefore if I did this I might not have an accurate idea of my hourly rate since I may have been sitting around waiting for 20 minutes out of the hour.

Re: Question on online record keeping when multi tabling
I record the time I start playing and quit playing seperately. This gives you your actual hourly rate.
I also track the time I spend at each table for a seperate per table hour rate. I normally get this info off of PT's session tab. |

Re: Question on online record keeping when multi tabling
I just use PT's hourly thing to estimate it. But I don't pay too much attention to it though as it changes a lot as i play different levels and number of tables...
also you need to remember if you spend 30min looking for tables and 30min playing and win $100. Your hourly is only $100 not $200...the time spend looking for tables is gone and it does give you an edge so it shouldn't be ignored. |
