standard push! You have a set!!! if you lose to a bigger that is poker varanice.
I would have raised from after the small blind bet. He could have two pair or anything... Get the mon ey in the pot!!!! |

If you lose to another set, then hey, it sucks, but then why else play 5/5 if you're looking to get your money all in when you have the nuts and you're almost assured not to have the nuts on the flop. |

OK, so am I correct in assuming that we should never concern ourselves with the possibilty of being dominated by a bigger set when either pushing or calling a shove on the flop, regardless of any previous reads/stats on a player?

[/ QUOTE ] Um, no. If you're very deep stacked or have a supremo read it is something to be concerned with. But generally, in a multi-way pot against unknowns and only 150bbs deep, you want as much money in the middle as possible. |

never fold a set on the flop unless your opponent is wearing a set mining hat, and his set mining canarie bird has died
