Default Combo draw in multiway pot

SB here is another solid TAG. Stats something like 22/19/3. We've tangled a bit....both of us 3betting each other, maybe the odd 4bet too. Only real hand of note vs each other was when i coolered his flush with a FH.

The preflop minreraiser is a 75/30/3 fish

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $1/$2 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $272.80
BB: $178.65
Hero (UTG): $251.65
MP: $220.35
CO: $78.80
BTN: $0.00

Preflop: Hero is dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 Players)
Hero raises to $8.00, MP raises to $14.00, CO folds, SB calls $12.00, BB calls $12.00, Hero calls $6.00

Flop: ($56) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 Players)

I'd call because I think he has a set here very often. He might have some QQ-JJ type hand that didn't feel comfortable 4 betting preflop, but I think he shows up with a set far more frequently.

Use position to your advantage. It's not like you don't get paid if you don't hit your outs. You could have JJ-77 after calling the flop so he won't be shutting down if you hit and he does have a set.

add me to the call camp. who knows if this guys capable of laying down a hand, we have position, and he's giving us a decent price closing the action.

Hmmm. Call is probably right, but I definitely don't just put him on a set, and if I blank the turn there may be some bluffing. He can easily have 77-TT, maybe even 55 or 33.

I agree with cb. I set is definitely part of his range, but I think overpairs are just as large a part of his range. I am not sure of your exact equity against the range because I dont have stove on my mac but as you said, you two do have a history and this can cause villian to make a lighter bet than he usually would.

I think our equity is too good on the flop to raise and end up getting 3b off of our hand, so a call is in order.
