FTP $10 - Approaching to the final table
Last 10 players, I've the shortest stack and looking for a move: the last 5 hands people are just stealing the blinds and where I've got no playable hand.
I don't like to call, but needed to find a spot: standard? Full Tilt Poker No Limit Holdem Tournament Blinds: t1000/t2000 (Ante: t250) 5 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: t28896 CO: t51764 Button: t10820 Hero: t4340 BB: t45380 Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is SB with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2 folds, Button raises all-in t10570, Hero calls all-in t3090, BB folds. Uncalled bets: t6480 returned to Button. |

Try not to ever get that short. You should be pushing when you get around 10 bbs. As played, very easy call this short

Re: FTP $10 - Approaching to the final table
Payouts?
I'm thinking this could be a spot where $EV diverges from cEV... |

Re: FTP $10 - Approaching to the final table
Payouts:
10 $46 9 $58 8 $70 ... 2nd $395 1st $657 I really played too tight in the last 10 hands and this was really a mistake: but when I found myself so short the only evaluation is about calling a raise from the button or waiting a couple of hands for a better spot? |

Re: FTP $10 - Approaching to the final table
Five handed, you surely had opportunities in the last couple orbits to open-push, either from UTG or CO. Like someone said above, you should never let yourself get anywhere near this short unless you lose a big all-in for most of your chips.
