cash game pro on the tourney circuit?
We all know about the big MTT pros running the tourney circuit - They travel the WPT & WSOP circuit, going from casino to casino. They're pro gamblers, so airfare, hotel, meals and tourney buy-ins are all tax deductible. If they make one final table in a year's time, then that covers their expenses for the year plus a tidy profit.
However, we also hear about the soft high-stakes cash games that the casinos spread during these tournaments. I was wondering, does anyone know if there are players who are exclusively cash game specialists that follow the big tournament circuit? Again, air fare, hotel & meals would all be deductible as legitimate business travel expenses. Are there players who do this? Would it likely be more profitable than, say, just living in Vegas and grinding the cash games in your favorite casino there? |

Might one of them dress better than they play?
(BTW, go back to the old avatar. Your custoim title doesn't work when your av is a picture of a guy dressed like a bad of rags.) |
