Re: 25NL - River play with two pairs
without reads i would probably fold this
it looks like a check behind though (I know after the fact) with TJQ on the board, too many high 2 pairs or straights are out |

Re: 25NL - River play with two pairs
Don't be results orientated.
This is an easy value bet - and by value I mean in the $1.25 region. He didn't make a (4.75) psr. You are good more than 25% on this river. Call. I don't think he has a missed flush draw or a made straight. I could see the argument for bet fold because he is tight and it looks like the river helped him, but his line makes no sense, you played the hand weekly and are getting a nice price. |

it looks like a check behind though (I know after the fact) with TJQ on the board, too many high 2 pairs or straights are out [/ QUOTE ] SB just completes after a limper. He checks the flop. Is he slowplaying? He just check-calls a turn bet. He should raise if he has anything decent to start building a pot and to protect from the two draws out there. He checks and you want to check behind because you know he is making an elaborate three street check-raise play. In retrospect, it looks like he may have hit a gutter or some weird j4s, j3s or something but I can't see him having a set or QT. His line makes no sense, and while I am more prone to believe a uNL nit, your line looks like a weak one pair or missed draw. |

He didn't make a (4.75) psr. [/ QUOTE ] I bet $1 into $1.75 pot and he raised $1+$1.75=$2.75. Wasn't it a pot-sized raise? |

Re: 25NL - River play with two pairs
JQ would have definitly bet at the flop, AK would have raise preflop, ur right easy call.
