final table BB, make the call?
weekly 225$ buy-in a B&M casino.
I start the hand with 29K in the big blind. ante 1k BB=6k SB=3k action folds to the button who goes all in for a total of 18k SB calls for 12k total (less than the raise and is all in) 12k to me to call? I have K6o Button has been fairly solid but I have seen a steal attempt before. 12k to call a pot of 9k(antes) + 18 + 12 + 6 = 45. call seems pretty obvious? difference between 9th,8th,7th place is fairly small |

Re: final table BB, make the call?
Although a look at all stack sizes + payout structure might change something, certainly seems like a call to me after running it against some ranges (say top 20% for BTN, any pair, ATs+/AJo+/KQs for the SB). Especially since picking it up gives you a healthy pay jump, a good image for protecting your blind and a solid stack to take it down.

Re: final table BB, make the call?
you are about 34% against two random hands and about 25% with some tighter range like 22+,AT+,QT+,JT,T9.
so this is 1:2 against the random hands and 1:3 against the tighter range. pot odds are 1:3,75 so it is a call. |
