Palm Beach Kennel Club Trip Report
First time, played in a sit n go, action was terrible. players were crappy. a lot of cash games spread but all low limit. i guess this is the off season. hit a trifecta on the simulcast betting though so left $500 ahead for the night.

Re: Palm Beach Kennel Club Trip Report
All the cash games you'll find are going to be low limit because that's what Florida laws allow. At the pari mutuels you're likely to find O8, Stud, LHE and SLHE with bets up to $5 per street and $1/2 NLHE with a $100 min/max buy-in. Some rooms spread a $2/5 game but still have a $100 min/max buy-in. Some of the Indian casinos also spread a $5/10 NLHE game but also have the $100 min/max.
In most rooms you must buy-in for exactly $100 at the no limit games and must go completely broke before topping off your stack. edit: edit to note that there's three other threads on Florida poker on the first page, one of which is from you and about this same exact topic... you probably shouldn't continue to start new threads on this topic when there's a relevant thread on the first page |

Re: Palm Beach Kennel Club Trip Report
Ah, OK. I haven't seen any spread-limit HE here in South Florida, but a couple of rooms have spread-limit stud.
