SciFi\'s Flash Gordon

Did anybody watch the first episode? I happened to see it by accident; not a great advertising campaign. It was an OK episode, more just getting the story out, but it appears to have potential. It has been rerun on USA today. It has Battlestar's Friday timeslot.

Does anyone know about this new series?
