Default pot sized raise question

Say the pot is 30, and your opp bets 15
If you wanted to make a pot sized raise, do you add 15+30 and double it? So 90?

I could be wrong but a pot size raise will include your call of the bet when calculating the total pot size you can raise. So pot is 30, bet is 15, you can call 15 and then raise it 60 (30+15+15) more. So your total bet is 75. Or as you said Bet*3+pot

A total bet of 90 (assuming NL) is more like just a 6x raise of the 15 bet.

Yea this is perfect. Remember a PSR will always give your opponent 2:1 pot odds, so you can work backwards to double-check. In your example, raise to 75 makes the pot 120 and leaves your opponent to call 60.

120:60 = 2:1 odds.
