NL100 - ugly spot on the river. call?

early in the match, we have played only 40 hands and he have been Tight passive... the biggest we played i raised pre OTB with 56s, he called, flop 678 rainbow, he check/called, turn 9 we both checked, he bet almost pot on a river T, i called, he had KJo (should i have folded?). All other pots were really small(fold pf, fold to cbet, he limps OTB and we check all the way, etc..). He bought in for $50 only...
