I raise to $6 preflop. With 1 or 2 callers I c-bet this flop.

No matter the number of callers, I try to get it in on the turn.

As played pot the turn for $15, and you can fold the river.

I can't for the life of me, figure how villan can have a queen. The only way he would have a queen is if he knows you are a bluffer. Your check raise on the turn either told him 1) you have a deuce, 2) you have a hand that beats two queens. In that case, would villan be making such a loose call for the remaining two queens? I rather think villan had a deuce. Of course I wasn't playing with the time clock ticking - tough hand.

Villain can certainly have a Queen, especially since it's an unraised pot. I figure villain has a weak Queen so he doesn't bet out on the flop. Unfortunately, since hero never shows any strength, villain calls his turn raise and then sucks out on the river, or at least that's the way I see it. I think hero needs to bet the flop and if donked on the turn make a bigger raise, and if not needs to bet the turn.

Yea, I see your point. It's one of those hands where you can make a case for what KurtSF recommended to raise preflop, or to set mine for cheap. Interesting hand; glad I wasn't playing it.

Villian is almost equally likely to have a Q or a 2 here, so I just call.

Given the pot odds, he only needs to have a 2 about 25% of the time and a Queen every other time for this to be a +EV call.

Id just call and hope he has a 2 and was slowplaying.
He seems aggressive enough to make this type of move.

As i think about this hand, i think i made a really bad call. At first, i thought there was no way that he had a queen cuz he would fold that to the raise on the turn.
But then i realized that the villian cant have a 2 and bet the river, so i was pretty much beat.

I agree with the theory that the villain would not bet the river with just a 2. Who would bet this without at least a Q? I'd fold, but hate it.
