NL25 worth putting in the hours?

Just wondering what you guys think of NL25 is it worth putting in the time in these limits what type of money have some people made from this limit? I would really like to aim for $1000 as i like to set goals but not unreachable goals

I was thinking of going to NL50 but was thinking about putting in the hours at NL25 just dont want it to be a waste of time.

I will be bankrolled sufficent for both limits when i start playing

Depends on what's your background and skills. At NL25 you can expect to run ~5PTBB/100 playing good & solid ABC, that'd be ~2.5$ per 100 hands. You'd need to play approx 40K hands to reach 1k$.

I'd say if you have no NL experience start with 25BL and put in about 50k hands for an average of 5-6 ptbb.

Pretty much what the above posters said. I would suggest if yu have no experience to start at 10NL even. I grinded 10NL for a 20K hands and now I feel much more confident playing 25NL, unfotunately I'm not rolled for 50NL yet, hehe.

I deposited $20 back on Jun. 1. Since then I've played 26k hands (I'm a short sesson guy, 2-4 hours) and I'm just short of $1k right now.

I'm doing it to build a roll though, not for a little extra cash, so your mileage may vary.

$950 but yeah those are the numbers. I wish I used PT so I could give you guys a graph. I'm in the process of making a few vids to get some feedback. My style is a little different from alot of what's advocated here, so I'm anxious to hear what people think.

right now now im up 500 in just 6k hands (have graph at work) small sample size i know but i took some time off really worked on improving my game using this forum and my poker tracker. you have to start somewhere right. cant wait till i move up to chase losses and busto

300 in 20K hands at 5NL and 10NL - thats 9PTBB/100 and includes my nice big 15BI downswing - don't we all love poker [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
