Three Handed Flop Push with Top Two?
Large micro tournament. Final table is somewhat passive but SB when acting first has been min-betting on just about every flop.
Poker Stars Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo Tournament Blinds: t6000/t12000 3 players Converter Stack sizes: Button: t270050 SB: t209546 Hero: t100904 Pre-flop: (3 players) Hero is BB with 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Button folds, SB raises to t24000, Hero calls t12000 (pot was t36000). Flop: 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (t48000, 2 players) SB bets t12000, Hero raises all-in t76904 Is this push ok? |

Re: Three Handed Flop Push with Top Two?
I like it, it's a close to perfect flop. You're the shorty so you look for a spot like this to try and double up. Given his pattern, if he hit a straight or set, his cloaking device finally worked. Pretty unlikely though.

Re: Three Handed Flop Push with Top Two?
Thanks for your input Rando. Here is the finish:
SB: shows [T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]] (HI: a straight, Eight to Queen) Hero: shows [3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]] (HI: two pair, Queens and Tens) SB collected 201808 from pot No low hand qualified It was pretty much 50/50 on the flop. I would do the same again. |
