Default Broadway flop after 3-betting AK pf oop

Say you 3-bet AK from one of the blinds and the only caller is the original raiser. Flop comes AxQyTz. Do we lead this?

It seems we're only getting called if we're beat, but checking to induce might lead to really tough decisions later on.

If we bet and get called, and even though the turn brings a low card, is it time to check/fold?

This is assuming 100bb stacks and no reads.

Bet to protect your equity. if you get called its not so bad bc you have outs.

Right. Betting the flop is where I'm at too. But how do we act on a blank turn if villain just calls our cb?

On such a coordinated board I would bet again, often fold to a raise.

Then if the river bricks check & call a reasonable bet. If the river is a bad card for you bet & fold. If the river is a good card for you bet & raise.

Grunch, won't you be pot-committed after firing two barrels in a 3bet pot (assuming 100bb stacks)? Surely any 'reasonable' bet on the river if you get that far will be all in for less than pot?

If you are betting the flop in a 3b pot, a turn bet from Hero should be a push in most cases with 100bb starting stacks. No room to fold.

does this mean you recommend pushing the turn if we get a call on the flop ?
