Default FT400, 6m, 4-h QQ action

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $2/$4 Blinds - 4 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $801.90
Hero (BB): $486.30
UTG: $417.80
BTN: $429.80

Preflop: Hero is dealt Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 Players)
UTG raises to $14.00, 2 folds, Hero raises to $46.00, UTG calls $32.00

Flop: ($94) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, UTG checks

Turn: ($94) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $72.00, UTG raises all-in to $371.80, Hero calls $299.80

Villain thought a while preflop, which made me think he was thinking about calling with a marginal hand. Flop plan was to let him do his aggro thing and c/r; not expecting him to have a higher pp, and if he's hit this board then fine, I gave him bad odds preflop.

He checks flop behind, now I lead. Reraising pre and checking on this board looks a lot like AK so after I bet I really shouldn't think about folding to a raise, and that's exactly what I do.

Villain is "jiggyji", 26/21/2.6/43 . My image is nitty.

Thoughts?

PS: It's bloody scary sitting with jfish, jedipokertrix and all kinds of sick 5/10 regs.

flop is the easiest bet/call in the universe. people push such crazy wide ranges on these boards.

This is not a very good board texture to c/r versus a 26/21/2.6 when your image is nitty.

Flop check is fine occasionally, although I much prefer it with AA/KK than QQ. As played, turn is good.

then again, all pairs will pay you off when you c/push bc its obviously AQ/AK.

sooooo i guess either one works.

as played. call.

I think itīs fine, why do you think itīs bad ?

Isnīt he pretty unlikely to check behind with TT or whatever if he thinks hero has a ten outer ?

There is also a flushdraw, so he will probably call a cr ai.

Think he has turned flushdraw or whatever often enough to call.

Definitely bet / call the flop. Checking is pretty blah I think, you don't want to see a turn with two streets left of betting left on this board. And like Pasterbator said people shove all sorts of crap here. Some even would consider shoving AK/AQ over your cbet as standard, let alone smaller overpairs, any draw, etc.

This seems like a very dry board that no overpair the reraised preflop is ever going to fold. What makes you think people would raise over a bet?
