PLO50 6MAX Facing river bet with 10 flush hit
I think flop and turn are probably OK in this hand, and I think the river fold is correct because it seems like they nearly always have a higher flush here. What do you think?

Re: PLO50 6MAX Facing river bet with 10 flush hit
There are two basic poker concepts at play here:
1) you have a hand that beats all 90% of all hands and you're getting 2:1 odds. 2) Your opponent has been calling down big bets already so his range has shrunk significantly. You can't conclude too much from the flop call w.r.t. spades, but the turn call means a lot. Overall, I'm mostly concerned about the Q flush since the Qs is going to be in his hand fairly often. I probably put in a crying call against an unknown here, but I could definitely fold against players who would check-call just about any non-nut flush. |
