Default FR NL10 KQ oop flops K; Villain won´t fold

Hey guys,

how would you play this hand?
Looking back at it now, I hate my river bet.

Villain is an unknown.

UTG: $10.80
UTG+1: $9.95
MP: $3.30
CO: $12.20
BTN: $9.30

Preflop: Hero is dealt Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (7 Players)
3 folds, CO calls $0.10, BTN calls $0.10, Hero calls $0.05, BB checks

Flop: ($0.40) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 Players)
Hero bets $0.40, BB folds, CO calls $0.40, BTN folds

Turn: ($1.20) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $1.10, CO calls $1.10

At a higher level I'd be worried your river bet looks too much like a blocking bet and will get raised by a wide range. I'm not sure how many villains are capable of that at $10NL though...

River card isn't really all that scary, if he has the straight he almost certainly made it on the turn unless he had exactly 88 or 33 which would make his play pretty goofy. I'd likely just check/call the river versus an unknown. There's a bunch of Kx type hands we're ahead of but there's also a bunch of 2pair/straight hands we're behind.

All other streets are standard.

BTW, consider raising preflop sometimes, particularly with reads on villains. You'll win a lot of the time preflop and take it down with a cbet most of the other times. Can be very profitable as long as villains aren't complete stations. Limping LP like that usually means they have complete junk (or they're playing AA/KK like tools).

I would raise preflop and check/call the river.

the river is a pretty obvious blocking bet and if i was playing against the type of weak 1/3 pot river bet id raise it alot of the time, so i think you should have bet either more or checked. I prefer check/calling. Also I would raise preflop to .60
