Re: Mucked TTP to nit
are you seroius????
i don't hate preflop because of your stacksizes - 5betting is certainly going to commit your stack whether you shove or make it smaller, and you are fairly 200 bbs deep after the 4b call. the flop is villain dependent..if he's aggro i'll donk/3bai, standard i'd c/r. call is atrocious. wtf is that turn? |

Re: Mucked TTP in 4 bet pf pot
I think the 4-bet preflop means villain has either AA-QQ or AK and possibly add JJ and maybe AQ, but these last 2 are less likely. I don't think folding to the 4-bet is bad, or you could raise it against a tight player, but I doubt this player can fold queens here.
I think once you get to the flop the trouble with the line, check-call check-call is that villains range is too tight for him to be bluffing alot, so you are not inducing a bluff here enough for it to be prfitable, because most of his range beats you. So if you are going to play preflopas you did then I think you have to bet flop and fold to a raise. |

This is HU? Meaning his 4-bet range is wider than normal.

Re: Mucked TTP in 4 bet pf pot
my first instict is like everyone else: crai on the flop.
But here's my problem with that. Of all the hands in villain's range (JJ+ AQo+), he only calls that bet with one hand that we beat, AQ. All of the other hands that call have us crushed. If we are ahead here we don't want to let him off easy and a crai lets him play perfectly. The more I think about it I like c/c on the flop and lead for 1/2 pot on turn. By the turn there is only one psb left so getting the rest in should be easy if he has anything. |

Re: Mucked TTP in 4 bet pf pot
his range is wider HU NL in position. AJo/s and TT are also added to his range definitely. Maybe more.
EDIT: also bear in mind AK is definitely possible and hero just gave up his half of the pot. |

Re: Mucked TTP in 4 bet pf pot
Please don't post results, allows for better discussion.
You need to make decision on the flop, don't call, crai or fold here. If you think you are beat on the flop, you are drawing very slim on the turn. Easy Call on the river. IMO. |
