Default ZOMG HERO CALL?

Villain is 33/19/2.3 over 300 hands. Looking back through hand histories while making my decision, I see he has a penchant for overbet shoving the river. 4 times shoved in 40 odd hands at this table, none shown down. Boards are of all different types.

What I don't get: if he has a FH/trips/str8, isn't he just pushing people out? Also, since I'm not the PFR, isn't he worried I have FH/trips/str8? His absolute reckless abandon make me think nuts or air.

Anyone make the call?

I'm debating whether or not to check the turn instead of leading. I feel I get blown out of a lot of pots by leading this turn.

I'm trying to figure out a range for him that would be complete air, but I can't really find one. It's hard for him to be raising a draw on the turn. 76? 4x? Maybe something like 43 or 42. Honestly, just fold it.

He has QQ here like never.

I'd fold this river, it would be a pretty elaborate bluff, and the only thing I can possibly see is 46s, and I can't see him turning 77 or something into a bluff. I'd fold to the turn raise and definately the river.

In unrelated note, 3-bet preflop, pot the flop, not get into this sitch?

I mix it up between call and 3 bet, especially depending on read of PFR.

whether to bet the turn or not depends on specific table dynamics. i like a turn bet but a little more like you could be repping a 5 and are looking to get some money in the middle, if you're image is somewhat solid and the other players aren't comletely unaware of things like image. then if you get raised you can just dump it.

if things are playing more aggressive i like a three bet pf.

I think we very likely have the best hand on the turn, but repping the 5 doesn't really make any sense. Our hand could obviously use some protection, but I'm not even sure if worse hands call us, and I don't think better hands fold. Note that this doesn't necessarily make a bet bad (since we don't fold the best hand if we happen to take it down), but it does kind of depend on villains' tendencies. If I thought the PFR would take a shot with his missed overs, I would check it. If I thought BB would call with a draw or worse pair, I'd bet it. Given that I don't know either of these things, I'm not sure whether or not to bet.

Additional info:

Normally I do 3 bet pre, but have been fairly active lately. Villain has done the raise thing before several times and I've simply folded. First time I'm offering resistance.
