Was this the correct laydown? 5.50 5k gtd at Stards

Hi.
I was playing the $5.50 5000 guaranteed at Stars yesterday and had kind of an interesting hand.

Was in early position, raising with A9s.
With two callers, one lowstack and one highstack I figured I had to be behind considering the raising and the fact that the highstack seemed to be a good solid player.

How do you feel about my laydown?

Final Pot: t6030

Result: The lowstack had KsTc and the bigstack had AhQd.....

Fold preflop.

Postflop, get it in, it can easily be an AT, AJ, AQ with a club against someone overplaying Kx with the Kc.

It's a 5 dollar tourney, ranges are a lot wider than you'd think.

dont post results at the start, ever. Everyone is subconsciously results oriented. Either way, I'm never folding this in a such a donkament, esp considering the commanding chipstack you'd end up with

Raising with A9s is fine, you have to mix up your PF raising hands from time to time. If the table is really loose in general, I fold those hands from early position though. Also, I pretty much always call with two pair and set on a monotone board. People love to go all-in on a draw and should you be up against a made flush, you have some outs.

That was the reason to play the hand. in general I was hoping for that kind of flop so that AQ, KK, and AK had a tough decision to make. in stead p$ butthumped me with a flushboard [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]
