Yes, worst board ever to cbet in a 3 bet pot. I think your play here is probably fine: If you miss you can probably also bluff push the river if he checks to you....

As a self acknowledged awful 3 bet pot player, I'd like some too please!

I think this is the most important part. You're right about the bad board but you have to know that this is true to call on the flush draw with bad odds.

Why? Depends what villain calls a 3-bet with. If he ONLY calls a 3-bet with something like JJ+ or AQ/AK, clearly this board is terrible. But if he is calling you with a lower PP or a KQ/KJ type hand, a 3-bet is +EV here.

As played, I wouldn't call the turn on just the flush draw since you have no idea where you are and villain could easily have you smoked.

id fold here. Qh/Jh might not be clean outs, and Kh/Th make a 4 straight, so it might make it hard to get any action unless he makes broadway along with your flush.

i also dont understand the logic behind bluff pushing the river if you miss. OP said he thought he could stack him if he caught his flush. i take that to mean he doesn't think villain will fold river. is this wrong?

fold the turn. I don't think villain will give you credit for a river push. What monster would you play that way on such a draw heavy board??

Sciolist I'm going to 3-bet every open raise if you don't get out of my games.

Fold the turn. I like the flop check.
