[/ QUOTE ] Forex and commodities tend to trend reasonably well, but this is a psychologically difficult strategy for new traders. Liquid stocks that have a wide daily range and are reasonably volotile are a good place to start with some low-risk swing trading opportunities. The volatility is good for beginners as you can control your risk through position sizing and you have a bigger profit target to allow for error because of the wider channels. Trading costs are also a lower proprtion of your gross profits if you look for these types of stocks.
