QQ very deep stacked
Villain seems decent: 27/13/1.7
What's the plan here? Why am I betting? I'm behind AA and KK obviously but I'm beating JJ and down. The thing is, would he really call down with JJ and down? Since it's so deep stacked, should I check? Am I way ahead, way behind here? Re: QQ very deep stacked
this looks pretty good. i dont expect villain to have an A very often so its a relative blank, but he doesn't seem to be afraid of it so you probably are behind.

Re: QQ very deep stacked
You bet because you most likely have the best hand, his range is very wide preflop and he'll fold enough to make betting profitable.
You also need to protect your hand, a bunch of cards can come on the turn that aren't good at all for you. |

Re: QQ very deep stacked
Your betting because you want to get value out of jacks, tens, nines, eights and sevens and don't want to give free card to ak/aq etc
Would he call flop, yeah why wouldn't he, it's 50nl, an unknown therefore a donk. Why would you check, you have a good hand and want to get good value out of it. As played I smooth call the raise. The turn is interesting, does he bet a lower pocket pair when ace hits? You would think not. I probably fold but if I thought he was at it I may call but nothing wrong with folding |

Re: QQ very deep stacked
What do you put him on on the flop? If he has 45s, 67s, 78s, 77-JJ you are ahead and he might very well still raise.
If he has an ace he's likely to have two overs and not very likely to raise. There are fewer hands that beat you here; 22, 55, 66, 56s and maybe a slowplayed AA/KK. The turn didn't help him if our conclusion on the flop was correct. He needs a set or two pair to raise you again. Aces is less likely now and KK are afraid of the A. He might have picked up a backdoor FD. Checking might induce him to bet a lot of the hands you are ahead of (all he knows is that you placed a cbet wouldn't fold to his raise on this low flop). So if you check this turn you need to call. I bet turn and fold to a raise, planning to take it here or bet the river on a blank. |

[/ QUOTE ] Hero has 3 bet pre-flop and called a re-raise on the flop so he should know that hero has an overpair here pretty much always. I don't agree that you have to call the turn if checked to, calling a 3 bet pf, re-raising the flop and betting the turn is a very strong line to take and don't think the average opponant here does it with hands we are beating often. |

Re: QQ very deep stacked
With these stacks I think this line could be a lot of hands including a lot of draws.
