Posting pics?

What am I doing wrong.
1) Get the properties of the pic in photobucket.
2) Paste them into my post
3) Click image and paste the properties into the box that pops up.

Where is this going wrong (between my ears?)? Never tried to post pics on this site.

Note that your image must be on a server on the internet like your own website or something like "imageshack".
