Interesting strategy
It was a sit and go in a Portuguese casino, satellite (1st place) for the main event of the day after and 2nd and 3rd position paid, 2000 strarting chips.
Well, the satellite was single table (10 players) and turbo (15 minutes blinds), I only had shown 2 hands, one that I won with pocket kings and another that I lost when I had AQ flop came A Q 5 with 2 clubs he went all with his flush draw,I called and the turn was another club. I had 925 chips left after that 2 hands. I was on 5th position(I was the only pro at the table, I only showed down that two hands so I had a solid, tight image),just at the right of the button and the blinds went up that hand to 150 300. I had to make a move as soon as possible, I picked up 72o and folded 83o and folded (maybe this are errors) and when I was UTG I went all in with my 925 chips left with my J3s, the SB called me with A3s and he held up. I talked about this hand to my team and we still discussing. What should I had done? Should I had fold the J3s and wait for the BB? And then waht? How much more should I have waited? Another round with 475 chips? Thanks |

Re: Interesting strategy
Depends on stack sizes and pay outs. I'm assuming you really screwed up by not open shoving in late position with ATC. This probably is +EV but not nearly as good as shoving ATC in late position.

Re: Interesting strategy
You should have shoved the 72o
