Default Preflop....To GambOOL or not to GambOOL?

I'm posting this from a friends computer so I don't have HH, but I'll keep it simple. Game is 3/6 6 handed on FTP. I have been playing about 25/20ish so I have a pretty active image. Anyways, I open to 21 in MP with 78c, Button fish who never ever folds anything calls, SB who is a 21/17ish TAG makes it 90, and super unimaginative Bad TAG instacalls from BB. I have 600 to start the hand and everyone covers. I'm 100% sure that BB has TT-QQ and that button is not going to fold. Should I gamble it up and call here to try to hit a good flop? Obviously I'm posting this because I called and flopped trip 8s and doubled up through BB and got berated for like 20 mins straight, and I just want to see if my call was justified.

I don't really know if it is +ev, but if you are both regs it can be good for metagame.

either way doesnt really matter since you know what both the blinds have.

But in a vacuum....if i'm gonna felt any flop where I hit 2 pr, trips, or any sort of decent draw, is calling here +EV in this situation?

Not sure but intuitively I'd say yes.

i think its quite a bit closer to call/shove than call/fold.

Jfish is right, against some I would shove here, but usually just call.

I would never ever ever fold.
