i'm torn on the flop raise. maybe just call and let him keep firing with a worse Q or an underpair?

the calldown looks a little thin as we need to be best 1 in ~5 times and that card is quite sucky, but i'd do it once and make a note.

this play is too strange so i call donw and make note about villian if u fold its probably too weak
On the other hand pot is steal small so fold could be also good.
Is fold and call down close?

If we just call, i think we need to put in a raise somewhere, yes ? My plan would be to raise the turn.

Yes, the A sucks, but i really couldn't decide because of the pot size. Make it smaller, i can fold, make it bigger, i can call.

My instinct is to fold. Pot's just too small.

Yeah, I call down and make a note. If you're gonna have the opportunity to isolate this guy later, it would be nice to know what he's donking with.

This is my standard line in this situation. Board is dry, so I'd pop him on the turn rather than the flop.

you get 5.75:1 immediate, but you have to call the river which villain will likely bet, so you are getting 6.75:2, I don't think you are good that often against a typical 5./1 villain, and I don't think the value of the read is enough to make this +EV.

Grunch.

I hate when this happens, but I usually see it in these cases.

Villain flopped a pair of some sort and then turned two pair after being raised.
Villain bluffed w/ ace high and then hit it on turn.
Villain flopped top pair, got raised and then still bet it on turn.
A smart villain may also bet a set as well.

I'm going to guess it's two pair on the flop and give the villain either A2s or A3s.
