i have little doubt that he doped, but i do not think that takes away from what he accomplished.

Even he never had cancer, nearly died, got nuked with chemo..I might view him in a bad light given it seems everyone does it in cycling...but I give him a pass since the dude's body got nuked.

He was most likely doing it before he had cancer, too.

Armstrong for me is a question of: Does the end justify the means? I mean sure he probably cheated his ass off, but then again no one in this country would care about cycling without him. He has also raised millions for cancer research that would not be there without him. He probably cheated, but he did so much good with his cheating that its hard to hate the guy or judge him like we do other cheaters.

[censored] the haters.

He was soundly hated by the French all the years he was dominating their tour. As has been posted, he was tested constantly and was always clean. Vive Lance!

Oh yeah. [censored] the French, too.

I figure just about every professional cyclist has good access to PEDs and their masking agents, but I see no reason why Armstrong has better access to them than anyone else.

If the question was phrased as "Did Lance take significantly more PEDs than the Tour de France average?" I would have said no.
