Default I cannot log on to my account on my laptop - What has gone wrong?

I can browse all of 2+2 fine. However I cannot log in using my laptop. I have to go on to my parents' laptop to post (like this). This started yesterday.

Please help.

To clear up the obfuscated response, you need to clear your cookies.

Either go here and use the "Expire Cookies" button, or try using the logout page before logging in.

Also, check the clock. You won't be able to sign in if the date is too far off.

thanks a lot for the replies.

good news and bad news:

good news, the solution was that my clock was Sept 2007 (i was trying to sort out travel then and forgot to move it back)

bad news: i did the expire cookies before hand. now i can log on and it goes to 'my home', but whenever i click to go to a forum or anywhere it then shows that im logged out again.

sorry for all this bother, just i'd like to get it working again on my laptop rather than the folks'.

thanks again

john

Try clearing your browser's cache too (temporary internet files).

also, i tried my other account on here (it is not for trolling or anything, just for a few posts i'd rather people didnt know my identity) and it worked fine and kept me logged on, if that helps the diagnosis.

Does your laptop double up as a time machine a bit like a Delorean car?
