Either push/raise preflop and play to get allin, or you can take the conservative side and just call. If you raise ANY amount, you can't be planning to fold. Postflop, why would you bet the flop (i assume you are folding if he raises). This just lets him play perfectly by folding all the hands you beat, and pushing all the ones that beat you BUT when he just thinks you are FOS and shoves with worse hands, you make the mistake in folding. |
