Default calling a 4bet w/ suited connectors

i was playing the 10-20 6max game on ps yesturday... i hardly ever play ps but just did b/c FT was down. i dont have the HH so you'll just have to follow.

villain was saucy something. eff stacks were 2000. i had only been playing for about 30-40 hands, he was pretty active and i had 3bet him quite a few times already... i had 56s on the button, he raised from the CO to 60, i 3bet to around 240, he makes an unusually small 4bet to 490 or something.. i had to call 250 to play a 1000 pot, so i was getting exactly 3-1 and would have 1500 left. i knew he didnt have to have aces or kings, and was just calling to see if i could flop an open ender, flush draw etc so maybe i could push him off his hand, or hopefully flop a big hand and bust him if he had aces or something... any one pair hand i was folding on the flop. i called and the flop came 1066, check check on the flop, he made a big bet on the turn, i went all in , he called and showed kings and i won a pretty big pot. then he started berating my play, and im still not sure if it was an okay call cuz i hardly ever find myself in spot like that. thoughts about the preflop play?

just because you played a hand at "high stakes" doesn't mean you should post it in the high stakes forum dude
