I would probably call since this is AK like always, but I would be hesitant to call with this hand in future situations because he will start shoving AA/KK pf if he thinks you're always calling here with TT. If he shows up with something other than AK just be sure to make a note.

This is really dependent on your recent history of 3-betting and 4-betting but I've got to think he's at least light a good % of the time to call with TT here given that you 3-bet with position on him. What are your stats have you been crazy w/3-bets against him etc? Basically what I am saying is it is close. With QQ+ here I likely instacall. JJ-TT I have to have a solid reason to believe they would bluff here.

I don't think you are seeing a worse hand often enough to call against most opponents, but I will often instacall here b/c of recent history with an opponent (I 3-bet him 3-4 times, he has 4-bet back 1-2 times etc). Or this one looks like a good spot for him to bluff back at me etc.

Are you saying that a 4-bet shove means AK more then a small 4-bet does? I don't understand probably b/c I just standardize all my bet sizes. Are we expecting rando-regular to have this bad of a betting tell?

I used to think this was the case as well but have found that some people shove and some people 4-bet light but there really isn't a difference in hand strength. Am I wrong here?

If I'd been 3 betting him a lot recently, I'd call here no problem. If I'd been playing tight, and the reads came off hands with other players, then it would be closer to a fold IMO.

FWIW I have huge tells with my 4 betting / cold calling. I'll keep doing what I do until someone exploits them because they can be quite profitable. Don't be suprised if other regs do too.

Yes. Shove = AK, small 4-bet = air. This is like 80% accurate.
