The rookie needs work
(see his second post, if it doesn't take you right there) Joe420, next time, don't bury it... unless you're trying to set up a personal thread for some reason. |

**GASP!!**
How dare a rookie misplay the almighty "4". BTW - I am now a believer in "4". Last hand of of my last tournament I played (2 weeks ago). We are heads-up and I'm on the button. Blinds are 400-800. I am dealt K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Villian (super tight aggressive) raises T800. I almost fold my hand but have him out chipped marginally, (F-it, I'm tired slightly drunk) I call. Flop comes: 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Villian stares at board for a minute, fondles his chips, then checks to me. I stare at him, fondle my BIGGER stack, and check (oooooooh, can you feel it?) Turn is: K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Villian (still fondling) cuts out his T800 and anounces his all-in raise. WHAT!?!?!? Doesn't he....Isn't he....aware there are two 4's on the board?!?!? Well spank me till I like it!! I grin, throw back the last of my Rosso Reserva , and call him flipping over my K4, preparing for the massive scoop by jumping up and moon-walking (my table, my house, dude had it coming). He turns over K,J praying for the miracle however, none of that would happen as I hold "THE POWER", the "4". A little tinsy winsy "2" swims through the river and I'm crackin another bottle of "Rosso" open baby!! Ah yes, I too was a non-believer. But until you experience the power, you will never know.
