Meh...

You could replace the poker player with almost anything and the joke would be the same. If you had some clutz trying to fix the electrical wiring in his home and then being attacked by a raptor, how is it any different?

Just to be sure, the raptor is just some random bad thing happening to this guy, right? That is, the raptor itself isn't significant? (replace raptor with elephant and it is the same joke, right?)
