Default 200NL - villain overbets river

Villain is 19/13 over 100 hands. I raised UTG. Are pre-flop, flop and turn standard? WTF is up with his line on the river? Is he value shoving AA here? 99? Is this ever a bluff? Help me understand this hand ...

Did you check turn to setup a check raise?

Ok ... if I bet the turn ($70?) I have to fold to a shove, right? There are not many cards that can come on the river that scare me (other than A or K) and my hand has plenty of show down value. Is the main reason to bet the turn to protect our hand or are we trying to get value out of TT or JJ as well? I figured that JJ or TT will check the river too (or try a thin bet) and I can get value there.

I bet the turn to protect from AK/AQ and to not induce bluffs. And yes, I am bet/folding.

It just makes it easier to play.

looks good to me. i dont think i play it any different. you will see AA, KK and 99 a huge percentage of the time imo. i seriously doubt he is bluffing or value shoving worse here. the only hand i could conceive that he might be value shoving that you beat is JJ, but players like this tend to go into major check/call mode on these dodgy boards with mid-high pp's.

i dont like betting the turn much at all, especially if its with the intention of folding to a push. just check behind and value town the river if he checks twice. i like the river fold.

edit: actually, against this player bet/folding the turn is not that bad as he will pretty much never bluff or value shove worse.
