straight on board vs. short stack push
.50/$1, I'm BB with 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Villain is SB with a $32 stack.
LP limps, SB complets, I check. Flop: 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB checks, I bet $3.50. Re: straight on board vs. short stack push
well if he has a 9>30% or so you need to fold, otherwise its a call
you are protecting 8.5bb by calling 22bb its prob a fold |

Re: straight on board vs. short stack push
Pretty automatic fold. It's a split pot you are protecting here if you choose to call.

Re: straight on board vs. short stack push
I definitely would have bet more on the turn -- at least $8.
I take it the 8 is not a diamond? This is a tough fold on the river. How good is SB? Would he know that you probably don't have a 9 and he can rep one? Probably not. You are most likely beaten. Fold. |
